A World of Type
This is the pitch booklet I have created to answer a brief we were given in are module ‘Design Research Methods’. The client being The International Society of Typographic Designers, the brief being we needed to create something which would develop an interest, enthusiasm, even passion, for typography in all its modern forms with people outside of our professional field in Western society.
My idea was a UK attraction which would be a miniature world which shows the worlds main cities made completely from text. The site being approximately five acres, with each country split into sections which will be identified to visitors through the site map.
In this booklet I have shown different areas of design which will be needed to make the attraction a success; The structure of the buildings, the brand, print design, screen design, environment and an idea for future development of the company.
